With all the best of intentions we had intended to launch the Doll Cottage Raffle this weekend, but we have been done in by bureaucracy. The Sturgeon Point History Project for all its hard work does not meet the definitions and legal status that will allow us the license, so...
We have this amazing doll house and we are going to, somehow, ensure that a someone will get to take it home. At this point, we are hoping that we can allow everyone to fill in tickets free of charge and do the draw on August 11th. We are waiting to hear back from the City of Kawartha Lakes on this.
Fundraising will be done completely separately. As in past years, a donation box will be placed on the table and your donations will be gratefully received and applied to the costs of running the Project.
